Our Beef

Are you interested in purchasing all natural, ranch raised beef directly from the rancher? Our family ranch offers high quality all natural (antibiotic free/no added hormones) beef! All cattle are raised on our Texas ranch and have never been exposed to livestock sale-barns or feedlots. We have been raising high quality beef for 6 generations and our beef genetics are well recognized in the industry. The beef is processed in a family owned, federally inspected, USDA approved processing facility and delivered directly to your door. Meat quality is much higher than what is offered in the local grocery stores because we select for desired meat characteristics and maintain ownership of the cattle from birth to your plate. The beef is aged for a minimum of 14 days to improve tenderness and all cuts are sealed in a vacuum package.

What do we offer?

We offer half and whole beef. Our cattle are sent to market weighing 1,250 lbs.-1,300lbs which is much lower than many of the conventional beef growers. We believe it is in the best interest of the animal not to exceed 1,300 lbs. because added weight adds stress to their bones and joints.

Do you offer a quarter beef?

We do not offer a quarter beef because it is very difficult to split a half beef evenly and there are several cuts that shouldn't be split. If you are only interested in a quarter beef we recommend that you find a friend who is also interested in a quarter and split a half beef with them. This way you both can work out the details as to who gets what cut of meat and how much.

Do you offer grass fed beef?

Throughout their lifespan all of our cattle openly graze in pastures.  Although they are exposed to this environment we do supplement most of them with an all veggie diet.  If you are interested in 100% grass fed beef, please give us a call.  We have a limited supply of cattle that would qualify.

How much beef will I receive and what will it cost?

(all weights are approximate)

Does freezing the meat reduce the quality of the beef?

Scientific research has shown that freezing beef does not reduce the quality (tenderness or flavor) of beef product.

How much freezer space do I need?
